Introduction

Using dialogs is actually fairly self-explanatory and each dialog has instructions on which keys do what printed on the window itself.

Nevertheless, this section documents each of the ingame dialogs.

[NOTE] As the server selection and login dialogs have been detailed in "Section 1: Logging in & logging out" and the character creation dialog in "Smacky's Guide To The Character, Section 1: Character Creation" those dialogs will not be covered again here.

The spell list dialog

Access this dialog with the meta command"?M_SPELL_LIST" (F9 by default).

LEFT/RIGHT toggle between spells and prayers
SHIFT + UP/DOWN select a spell/prayer path
UP/DOWN highlight an individual spell/prayer
RETURN ready the higlighted spell/prayer and return to the game
F1 - F8 assign the highlighted spell/prayer to the specified quickslot
ESCAPE abort the dialog and return to the game

Casting a selected spell/prayer is detailed in "Section 2-2: The range system" and "Section 2-3: The quickbar".

The skill list dialog

Access this dialog with the meta command"?M_SKILL_LIST" (F10 by default).

SHIFT + UP/DOWN select a skill group
UP/DOWN highlight an individual skill
RETURN ready the higlighted skill and return to the game
ESCAPE abort the dialog and return to the game

The bind keys dialog

Access this dialog with the meta command"?M_KEYBIND" (F11 by default).

SHIFT + UP/DOWN select a group
UP/DOWN highlight an individual slot
RETURN change/create a keybinding
'R' toggle repeat on/off for the highlighted binding
'D' save the bindings list and return to the game
ESCAPE abort the dialog and return to the game
